Wheeled excavator E140WG is a multi-purpose machine for excavation of pits, trenching in soils of I-IV categories, loading & unloading of loose materials, loosed rock or frozen soil (spalls up to 200 mm), and other jobs in the industrial, commercial, civil and infrastructure construction or land reclamation works.

The basic model can have different work groups – with a variable-angle boom or mono boom.

The compact size of the machine and improved mobility help this excavator to easily fit in the city traffic.

Excavator E140WG:

  • Variable-angle boom for operations in different industries, road & infrastructure construction, and municipal services. The variable-angle boom substantially improves the excavator’s performance: it makes it possible to increase the digging depth and reduce the earthmoving works’ volume during repair of utilities (digging of pits & wells, or trenches in confined spaces) through better optimized digging cycle

  • The split hydraulic braking system from Bosch Rexroth (Germany) with a two-spool pedal brake unit and improved power feeding from the hydropneumatics accumulator with increased capacity and active pressure control

  • Relief valves in boom lift/tilt hydraulic cylinders which comply with the EU and CU standards and ensure operations in lifting work mode

  • LUDV hydraulic drive system by Bosch Rexroth which ensures unlimited number of overlappings in one cycle, operation precision & accuracy, minimum loss of power. Smart flow sharing with priority to slewing system ensures optimum performance

  • Hydraulic cylinders from European suppliers. Bucket and stick cylinders have integrated final dampers which ensure smooth rod deceleration just before reaching the final position

  • The engine TCD 2012 L04 2V by Deutz (Germany) with water cooler, electronic engine control (EMR3), Common Rail direct fuel injection, turbocharger & intercooler, Tier3 compliant. Centaflex coupling used to connect the engine with the pumping unit

  • The radiator block from Rosati (Italy) with three cooling circuits: engine water cooling, engine air cooling and hydraulic oil

  • The axles and transmission from Carraro (Italy) with multi-plate disc hydraulic brakes, oil-immersed, ensure easy power shift, and wet disc brake integrated in the transmission, spring applied and hydraulically released

  • The newly designed cab with modern interior, more compact and ergonomic instrument panels and control consoles, wide door with integrated quarter light, large glass area which ensures full vision of the work zone, improved system of air ducts for defrosting & demisting, and air ducts for heating/cooling of the cab. The basic configuration enjoys a climate-control unit (heater & air conditioner) from Webasto (Germany), stereo kit, ergonomic operator’s seat with a safety belt and high-quality cloth cover, and a kit of additional working lights on the cab rood and an additional rear-view mirror.

  • The compact-size tilt-adjustable steering column from Ama (Italy), bottom dosing pump and ergonomic understeering switch

  • The hood system which ensures full access to all assemblies & components that together with the additional footrests on the outrigger and handrail makes maintenance quick & easy. Advanced sound-absorbing materials and smart air circulation in the underhood space ensure reduced noise level and simultaneously effective cooling of the powertrain. The footsteps integrated in the reinforced front hood and additional side footrests also ensure easy access to the assemblies & components, and make refilling more comfortable

  • Twin front & rear wheels with a possibility of mounting wheel spacers to avoid clogging of inter wheel space

  • Protective boots for hydraulic cylinders of the dozer and outriggers

  • The engine starting heater Hydronic D10W (12V)

  • Additional Hella lights with protective guards on the cab

  • The electronic data display & control system with use of the LCD monitor from Bosch Rexroth (Germany) which ensures control and display of the machine’s operating parameters. Button plates integrated in the control consoles and reliable electric components (push buttons and display panel) by Hella (Germany) ensure alarm indication of the critical level of the coolant, air filter clogging, low pressure in the hydraulic tank, fuel filter clogging, low battery charge and engine failures (Check Engine)

  • The onboard controller and pump with electronic proportional control of the displacement to ensure selection of different power modes of the powertrain (full power, standard mode, economy mode, precise mode, construction site mode) and automatic rpm drop during idle periods

  • The rear-view camera with display of data on the LCD monitor from Bosch Rexroth (Germany)

  • The fenders as standard that fully frame the front and rear wheels, protect the machine from mud and the windshield together with the radiator from road sprays. The fenders protect the machine, other vehicles and people who work nearby from rocks, mud and liquids thrown into the air by the rotating tire

  • The hinged retractable outriggers which ensure improved stability of the excavator during different types of operations that makes it possible to increase the cutting force, lifting capacity and reliability of the excavator when operating on soft & hard soils

  • The ergonomic heated high back operator’s seat with armrests. It has a two-point safety belt and removable headrest
